Frequently Asked Questions....
What do the names mean on some decoys?
If a decoy has a name that means I have a pattern so I can make that same decoy again. This is how I can tell
what decoy you want to order. The color has nothing to do with a name. The same decoy will be painted
differently. For example you could order a 'Buster' and ask that I paint it red or blue.
What are the lengths of the lures and decoys?
I usually put a ruler in the picture with a lure to give you an idea of length. If I state the length it is an
approximate length. For example if you see a 9" perch it might be 8 7/8 inches or 9 1/2 inches. The length is
from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail.
Will the paint crack on the decoy fins?
If you bend the fins sharply or often the paint will crack. Don't bend the fins unless you are testing the
decoy in your darkhouse. Adjust the fins a little at a time to avoid excessive cracking.
